We planned our holidays in Florida very carefully (as you have to with three kids) and checked the local car rentals on three different car rental comparison web-sites. Alamo was consistently offering best pricing. After some waiting in the line at Miami Airport, we got our papers and bought some extra insurance as the last time we were renting a car we had to pay for broken windshield (actually it had just a small scratch but you pay the whole thing) - it turned out that windshield damage is never included in the basic insurance policy. So after buying roof, tires & WS insurance we went to their parking lot. One thing I love on Alamo is that you can choose whatever car you like in your category. We rented an SUV and they had like 5 different models available. We took a Toyota in the end and had a great driving experience with this car. The drop-off was just as painless as pick-up and our overall feeling experience with Alamo very good.
