Do not use Avis in Ukraine. I rented a compact from them. I drove it off the lot and there was a terrible noise comming from the engine compartment. I pulled over to investigate and the vehicle had a broken motor mount. I drove back to the office and they were aware of the problem and rented it to me anyway. They upgraded me one class and the vehicle was filthy. The CMax had bald tires, this became a problem later when the front left tire eventually wore a hole through it. I call the Avis service and they could not do anything for me because I was more than 18 km outside of Kiev, to be exact I was 300km outside of Kiev. |
