HERTZ car rental in Barcelona airport - Super Cover ?

Good afternoon! According to voucher EU2808158-3 I rented "HERTZ" the car in airport Barcelona. Has returned the car without remarks. During registration I have paid insurance Super Cover (SC) = 81 euros. I ask to explain why from my card 146,16 euros are written off.

hi Vladimir,

if you bought Super Cover from Hertz car rental at Barcelona airport, then you should be fully covered, except damaged or lost keys, fuel contamination or lost of GPS. Otherwise, I do not understand either, why Hertz charged you this extra amount. I would suggest to contact Hertz Barcelona airport branch for details of this charge.

Family car with snow tyres

I need to rent a family car with snow tyres from BCN airport from Jan 23 till 27.

Can you please advice where to find it and what is the type / rate.

I'm not sure if you can get snow tires in Barcelona - there are car rental companies offering rentals with snow chains in Barcelona - you can try for example Sixt car rental or Hertz - both offer snow chains as optional extra - but the price for this seems to me quite high ($17.87 per day with Sixt and Hertz about $13 per day), it may be cheaper to buy snow chains at some car shop or gas station. As you probably will not find car rental in Spain offering snow tires, you are not limited to Sixt or Hertz offering chains (you can try to get them by your self) - it's good to compare several car hire offers to get the cheapest deal for Barcelona airport.
