I thought I should share my experience with you,

Some background, I'm a jordanian Dentist living in Dubai, UAE, I was planning my wedding on 11.11.11, my vacation was from 5th nov to 15th, Here is what happened,

I made the booking through there website on the 3rd of Oct. (more than a month before arrival), recieved and email titled: 

Booking Confirmation (Nr. 4159-1973-JO-3)

to confirm and everything seemed just right.

On the morning of the day of travelling (5th of nov.) I received an email titled :

"Your Budget Reservation Reminder"

I was a bit worried because that night was the eve of Eid Al Adha, a high season for car rental companies, the email had a mobile phone number (00962777799800) which I called to make sure everything is in place, a lady answered and assured me.

I arrived at the airport on time, looking around, nothing was there, asked other car rental companies (who actually have kiosks in the airport, unlike budget), with no results, I tried to call the number mentioned above more than a dozen times, mostly from my number which I used earlier, and from other numbers, with no answer, at that point my blood was boiling, seriously!!!

After more than an hour of arrival, I recieved a call from this number (+962797647788) the guy said he's from Budget and he said he's on the way from Zarqa, (a city more than an hour and a half drive from the airport), BUT there was a problem!!! according to the champ, the client who has the car I was suppose to recieve, failed to get it back in time, and guess what, the genius was offering me a "SMALLER" car for MORE MONEY.

I would never expect to hear this from a company this size, if there was a problem, you fix it, offer me a smaller car at a lower cost, or bigger one at the same price, I'd settle for a discount. I was shouting my throut out in the middle of the airport, but our friend was so cool, saying, you know it's the Eid;s eve, there is no way you can fand a car now (by then it was 10:30pm).. O_o 

He was twisting my arm!!!

I ended up paying more, for a smaller car, from another company!!!

I will never forget this experience, and I advice everybody to avoid this company, they will sell you, and there reputaion for a penny.
