I'm working in Vancouver on a software project and have to arrive once-a-month from Germany. So far, I was always renting my car from Budget as they had best prices and good cars - but be warned! As soon as problems start, you have virtually no-one to talk to. I have no experience with renting from Budget in other countries, but here in Canada they ALWAYS send you to their customer service that is inefficient and NEVER deal with the problem locally. This seems ridiculous to me, especially considering the slow response from their representatives IF reached by phone at all (I was dealing with one person for 15 minutes and then I lost connection. I had to explain the problem to another person for another 15 minutes as they told me there is no way of finding the first rep...)
