carolWe are flying to Chicago this June and consider renting a car. From what I know about the O’Hare International Airport, it is well connected to the downtown by public transport. My question is: does it make sense to take a ride to the city and order the car from our hotel?

I guess you got it completely right. ORD car rentals are a hassle, not to speak about the higher prices. I personally prefer to take the train. You will get your rented car directly to the hotel so why bother at the airport?
