Especially in Prague city center - there are 3 kinds of parking - 1) parking for local resident ONLY - BLUE line - you can not park your car in this area if you don't have a local resident sticker on your windshield. 2) Paid parking - WHITE line - you have to prepay your parking in coin operated automats - you get a receipt, which you have to place at behind your windshield. 3) Underground paid parking - when you enter the underground parking you get an Entry receipt which show your entry time and date. When you leave the parking you have to pay for the duration spent in the parking lot.
