We rented a car in December 2011 from Enterprise at the airport in Washington DC. It was dark when we picked up the car, but we walked around the car to check for damage. There was no obvious damage. Upon return the representative looked under the car and said there was a scrape on the rear bumper. WE DID NOT CAUSE ANY DAMAGE TO THE CAR! She put in a claim and the next thing we know, we receive a bill for $379.00 for buffing out a scrape and adding a clear coat! Again, WE DID NOT CAUSE ANY DAMAGE! Enterprise can say and do anything they want. We found this out when we tried to dispute the claim. We even had a picture of the "scrape". We have contacted the Better Business Bureau. We have since heard from others who have had similar situations with Enterprise.
