Hired a Fiat Punto grand 14th June to pay on arrival. The cost of the vehicle was 115 Euro

On arrival they added a 15 Euro Surcharge together with fuel cost a wopping 88 Euro and they added the car needs to come back empty.

Total 213 Euro

We have used them in the past and paid for a tank of fuel no surcharge and bring it back full, so we would have only paid normal fuel costs

Fuel tank capacity, 45 litres  Average prices - 13 April 2011 Euro Super, un-leaded 95 octane - €1.35   = E60.75

We managed to take the car back on the red low fuel light but guess there was probably around 12 litres in reserve.

Normally we would have spent more time out of the car but this charge really pissed me off and we were determined not to take the car back with half a tank.
