I travel every now and then and I have my opinion on most car rental companies based on my experience of several years. Therefore, when comparing the prices of car rentals at San Diego Airport it came to me as shock and awe to find out that - lo and behold! - Hertz was the cheapest car rental company, at least for our combination of vehicle, rental period and extras ordered. I always considered Hertz to be the best and most expensive rent-a-car, well, as it appears, they are neither the best nor the most expensive ones in California...

First of all, the customer service, especially considering our waiting time of 30 minutes, was mediocre. We were supposed to used the kiosk for our reservation - it didn't work. The car was in perfect condition and clean and it was what we ordered. My overall impression was "average" but I give them 4**** for the price.
