Which car hire companies are close to the arrival hall of terminal 5 Heathrow? I only want to walk a short distance to the car hire company, I am not interested in taking a shuttle bus.

Car rental companies with their locations at Stansted London Airport have their registration counters directly in the international arrivals hall. You can’t miss them. There is no need to look for them like e.g. at Heathrow.

Budget Heathrow - on or off airport?

Does someone know whether the London Heathrow car rental offices and vehicles are located on-airport or off-airport? I’m specifically interested in Budget rent-a-car.

The Budget car rental is located some 10 minutes of driving away from all the terminals. You will need to use the registration counter at your terminal and a shuttle bus.

Hertz at Heathrow airport - which terminal?

We are flying to London Heathrow apt this May and rented a car from Hertz. The voucher says we should look for their office at Terminal 5. As far as I know, Heathrow has just four terminals, or is this something new?

London Heathrow airport has 5 terminals. Terminal 5 is indeed new, it has been opened in 2008 by HM the Queen and serves the domestic carrier British Airways. It is likely you are flying with BA. In such case, your car rental will be located in Terminal 5.

Gatwick airport car rental center location

Hi, I have a question concerning the Gatwick airport. I’ve been to London several times and always used car rental at Gatwick Apt but I heard that the old car rental facilities have been shut down and there is a new rental center/location. Can anyone help?

This is correct, the old car hire location at London Gatwick Airport North Terminal had been closed on May 2009. The new location is nearby and you will have no problem finding it (just go right instead of left). Offices of car hire companies are at the 5th floor.
