We rented a SUV for 7 days last December in Denmark, and we have been framed when we returned the car.
The man in charge checked the car in and out and said everything was OK and we both signed the return sheet, but after we returned home, we noticed an extra charge of 500 DK (about 100 $) for "extra cleaning" !

We complained and it turned out that some dirt on the floor is "unacceptable" when you rent a SUV for 7 persons for a week in winter at Six! A pure scam!

1) They OKed the car when we returned it but still overcharge us. That alone is a forgery
2) They charge you for a fake problem, the car having ONLY some dirt and leaves on the floor (yes it was winter, it had been raining a lot and we don't take our shoes off when we step into the car !)

The scam is very organized and systematic as some friends of us got exactly the same problem at the same period.

In 20 years of international rental all over the world, I have NEVER experienced such a shamefull behavior
