Arrived early in the morning from NYC - went to thrifty - a man behind the desk Mc-something or other was beyond the doubt the rudest most uptight - refused my credit card insurance (even though I have used it many times in glasgow at thrifty) and when I protested informed me "I could take it or leave it".  We had to take it, what with the luggage and the early hour etc.

contacted my credit card (it's a business card) and they emailed me the papers to prove I was covered - went back the next day and had the charge for insurance removed.  That was with a very nice woman.

turned in the car two weeks later and was told this man had REIMPUT the charges for the insurance so again had to have it reevaluated.  What a bugger he is/was.

 Obviously, the whole tone of the place has changed drastically.
