What is APCONRECFEE?
APCONRECFEE usually means Airport Concession Recovery Fee - this is the fee or surcharge you have to pay to the car rental company when you rent a car at their airport location. Car rental companies usually pay fees or taxes to the Airport authority, that they can operate their car rental business at the airport premises. These fees are quite high - the airports have very nice revenue from these payments and they can invest them into the airport infrastructure.
If you would like to avoid paying the APCONRECFEE, then use one of the off-airport locations - it may be cheaper, but usually it's you have to travel to the off-site location, it takes longer time and it's not so comfortable... and the rates are sometimes very similar to the rates at the airport, as airport locations are very competitive and car rental companies try to keep the rates as low as possible to beat the competition...
